Sweden has long been a powerhouse in electricity supply within the EU, with its stable power system and significant export capacity. We have every opportunity to strengthen our position for the future and the next generation of power systems. “Our innovative capacity will be crucial in becoming a world leader in creating stability in an increasingly dynamic system,” says Khashayar Farmanbar
At the El & FastighetsMässan, he will speak about how the energy systems of the future determine the winners. Many may recognize Khashayar Farmanbar, or “Khash” as he is called, from politics. The former IT entrepreneur has served both as a municipal councilor and as Sweden’s Minister for Energy and Digitalization. Today, he focuses on building companies within sustainability and tech—something well suited for an entrepreneur with dual degrees in computer engineering and industrial economics.
“I now make investments and serve on company boards. But that moves too slowly, so I want to be more operationally involved,” says Farmanbar.
