The industry’s best innovations crowned at Elmässan 2025

At Elmässan in Stockholm on October 15–16, the entire electrical and lighting industry gathered for two days full of inspiration, new technology, and future insights. One of the highlights of the fair was the Best Electrical Innovation and Best Lighting Innovation competition, showcasing the most innovative products and solutions on the market.

Elektroskutt Wins Best Electrical News – Again!

In the category Best electrical news, Elektroskutt took first prize with their product Twist—a smart and flexible tool that simplifies installation work and saves time in the field.

Jury statement:
“This innovative product makes everyday work easier for professionals in a smart and thoughtful way. Thanks to its flexible design, it can easily adapt to and be used on multiple boxes—a small detail that makes a big difference on the job. The product encourages doing things right from the start, meets all requirements for wet-room safety, and is made from 100% recycled material here in Sweden. With its practical form and high value, it sets an example in function, sustainability, and design.”

Fagerhult Wins Best Lighting Innovation Award

In the category Best Lighting Innovation, the award went to Fagerhult for the fixture Wrapped—a product that combines design, functionality, and sustainability in a groundbreaking way.

“This product stands out for its impressive innovation and practical sustainability. Despite using a new material, it does not compromise on functionality or light quality. The innovative fixture design combines both uplight and downlight with excellent visual comfort and glare control, fulfilling important functions. The winner demonstrates that it is possible to create something new, beautiful, and functional from recycled materials—while inspiring the entire industry to think sustainably, creatively, and forward-looking.”
