Flex+ sets a new standard for cable identification

Simplewire is exhibiting at Elmässan and has a hot new innovation for the future of electrical installations. We took a closer look at Flex+.

With Flex+, Simplewire launches a completely new tool for the electrical installations of the future. The product makes cable identification faster, safer, and more precise, even when circuits are live. Flex+ gives users complete overview of the installation in record time while eliminating the risk of errors. “This is a solution that truly changes everyday work,” says Dick Hellman, Country Manager Sweden at Simplewire.

How Flex+ works

Flex+ operates by attaching signal clamps around outgoing cables in the electrical panel. Using an accompanying scanner, the installer can quickly scan all electrical equipment. Through data-driven signaling, the system can identify within seconds exactly which breaker the cable belongs to. “No cross-talk, always accurate identification. That’s the core of Flex+,” says Dick Hellman.

Unique features

Flex+ is the first tool on the market that combines data-driven cable identification without cross-talk with the ability to work under live conditions. Key features include:

  • Labeling up to 10 groups simultaneously per Flex+ unit
  • Backtracking from outlets to the correct breaker
  • Configurable naming of outputs
  • No limitation on cable length

“Being able to label multiple groups at once is a huge time saver. It makes troubleshooting and marking much easier and safer,” says Hellman.

Benefits for the industry

In short, Flex+ is designed to meet the electrical industry’s growing demands for efficiency and safety. Installers save time, minimize errors, and gain a complete overview of their installation. It’s not just about working smarter—it’s about setting an entirely new standard, according to Hellman.

See the tool and meet Simplewire at Elmässan on October 15–16.
