After many years, Siteco is finally back at Elmässan—and this October, they will bring several exciting new products. The company, which has been manufacturing lighting for over 160 years, is now aiming to reach a broader audience in the Stockholm region.

New Innovation: iQ Colour-Switch
Siteco is growing rapidly with several new hires underway, and product development is moving at the same pace. At the heart of this growth is their latest innovation: iQ Colour-Switch.
– “It’s a solution that both ensures safety for people and considers wildlife at night. We’re proud to offer technology that benefits both humans and nature,” says Mokko.
From Streets to Arenas – and a New Focus on Industrial Lighting
At Elmässan, Siteco will primarily highlight their outdoor lighting solutions, focusing on street lighting and sports facilities, along with the company’s patented iQ technology.
– “Our iQ technology is unique on the market and packed with innovative features that make a real difference in practice. At the same time, we’re excited to share our new industrial lighting initiative launching this fall, which we’ll be happy to discuss on site,” he adds.
Sustainability Driving the Industry Forward
When asked about industry trends, Siteco sees a clear pattern: sustainability in all its forms.
– “Sustainability—economically, socially, and with attention to animals and nature—is increasingly central, especially in outdoor lighting. We see the need for new technology and smart control solutions driven by regulations like Boverket’s new building codes, which encourage innovative technical solutions. The ongoing phase-out of fluorescent lighting is also increasing the need to update lighting installations nationwide. In addition, there is growing investment in high-quality sports facilities to promote health, movement, and activity for children and youth.”

Networking is one of the biggest benefits of Elmässan, says Jarkko Mokko.
